We have been here three times and have always come away happy we made the trip. Great staff, very family friendly, lots to do (horse riding, hiking, rappelling, archery, tubing, camp fires, dancing, and more), good food and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable in all the rooms, but the rooms vary significantly depending on what you want. If you want to party with your fraternity in the "Miami spring break" style, stay away, but if you want to have an active, fun time (or just laze around in the beautiful country setting), get to this place, you will not be happy you did. Great place for a Western cowboy experience!
Our family just returned to Fort Worth, Texas from our 4 day Rockin\' R Ranch vacation, and we cannot stop telling everyone around us about all of the adventures we had! Our 4 boys put down their game systems happily and discovered the wonders of the great outdoors, a huge accomplishment! There are too many standout staff members to name them individually. Every activity went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for creating some of our most favorite family memories!
We had a great time and loved all the activities! There is so much to do for all ages! The rooms are really clean and the food was really good! We will be back!
Incredible staff and great time! My daughter and I stayed for 5 days and we couldn't be happier. The staff was amazing, every single one of them. What we liked the best was the fact that you could be as busy as you wanted or as quiet as you wanted. The food was home cooked and plentiful, don't plan on losing weight if you go. I travel extensively for work and I have to say that I was never treated better than at the Rockin! The rides were awesome, do the Cowboy Rock ride and for a hike don't miss the Butch Cassidy or Overlook. Give the Rockin' a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. See you next year for the late August cattle drive.
